John Taylor was made a Life Peer as Baron Taylor of Warwick, of Warwick in the County of Warwickshire in 1996, as the first black Conservative peer. He was also Chancellor of Bournemouth University.

Michael “Scoop” Skupin, CBS’ Survivor – Australian Outback

You’ll remember Michael “Scoop” Skupin from CBS’s hit reality show SURVIVOR “THE AUSTRALIAN OUTBACK”. This popular show became the most watched show in the history of television. Mike was the guy who was headed for the winning circle when he tragically passed out into a fire and was medi-vaced by helicopter to the 2 different burn centers in Australia. Mike was seen by five different burn surgeons told Mike he’d have to have a series if 3 skin graft surgeries to repair his hands. He was told his hands would still have badly scarred hands and limited mobility of them. After 10 days in the intensive care unit, as Mike was being wheeled to surgery, the chief of surgery removed his bandages and said “I’ve been the Chief of Surgery in the number one burn center in Australia for 35 years and what’s happened to your hands is medically inexplainable
