@runawaydarling Oh and I see public school has done a fabulous job for your spelling. Just so you know, I have friends, probably better, CLOSER friends then any public schooler will ever have. And we don’t just have friends that are our age, we have younger, and we have older friends. Not only that, we’ve learned how to socialize with adults, something public schoolers never to do because the only adults in their lives are people who have authority over said kids and makes them feel resentment..

No, but Tags such as “teacher” determine that you are probably something like 80-90% more likely to be eligible than someone that merely has the tag of “Mom”

Parents always pass their knowledge down to their children (if their present) the issue is the TYPE of knowledge.

Who is more likely to give me a better education in Physics, my mom who has crammed for a few months just so she can teach me, or a guy with a Masters in Physics from Stanford. Then she has to teach me English literature!

Tags such as teacher don’t determine whether or not you are eligible. Just as was done in days of the first millennium, knowledge can be passed down regardless of who is passing it.

@runawaydarling What? I’m homeschooled. I went to a private school from K-2 to 3rd grade. Then we moved. So I had to go to public school. That place was so screwd up I actually had too much stress and had to go to the doctor. He said it was from school. Every weekend. I go out with friends. All of them, are publicly schooled. I have many friends, I get in fights, hell, I even have a girlfriend thats in public school! *GASP!* But I broke up with her pshyco ass.

i insanely agree. does this guy seriously think homeschooling is better than public school? you see, we hav these things called ‘friends’ in public school. and we actually do this thing called ‘hanging out over weekends’ i used to homeschool and i def agree it was the worst idea ever, not unless u want the homeschool child to grow up depressed and under a rock

Sir by accusing me of slander you are slandering me. I stand by my report. People with an alcohol problem shouldn’t be ashamed, they need help and prayer. I know a good Christian therapist that can help you. I have no problem with having a good laugh, but making jokes about women parts and whatnot is not funny nor godly

@glennandrobert Wow… If you happen to be a Christian, this is not the way to handle things. If you thought I was drunk during a show (which I was not), then you should have confronted me after the show in Christian love and challenged me. And regarding your other comment… I’m not sure what live performance you saw, but it wasn’t one of mine. Read Matthew chapters 5-7 and maybe next time you’ll handle things in a biblical manner rather than posting slanderous comments on the web.

I always liked thor ramsey on “bananas” becuase he is a christian and doesn’t have to use bad language. I was really disappointed when i bought tickets to see him and our whole family went, including the litte ones. I beleive, although I’m not sure, that Thor was drunk when he took stage. He did a bit about wal mart, which was clean and funny, but then spent a half hour talking about what his wife’s vagnia farts smelled like. I had to cover my daughter’s ears.

Haha I am homeschooled :) My parents chose to for these exact reasons.

That’s why I thank God for the solid foundation my parents provided me through private and homeschooling. I was much more mature than the majority of my public school classmates. I think that’s a large part of the reason I didn’t date in high school; I saw no point to it. I never got into the drama of high school. It was childish to me.

I’m another one. It’s my dream to one day smuggle Bibles into restricted nations.

It’s funny how people try to come up with insulting names for us (like Christian and Jesus Freak), but we end up liking the names so much, we apply them to our everyday lives. I think that’s part of the reason Christians make the best comedians (IMHO).

homeschooling is great but public school is something that you should really be careful about with your kids…for example if you were on a chair would it be easier to pull another person up on teh chair with you (spiritual growth) or will it be easier for the person to pull you down off the chair (satan working) which do you think you will happen to your child….

    Were you homeschooled?

    August 26, 2010 at 8:12 am
  21. elfgirl12 #

Yeah I like that attitude. I’ve been public schooled my whole life, and though I’ve been given the chance to home school, I’ve chosen public school. Now, if I have kids, I’ll probably home school them until high school, then give them a choice. That’s what my aunts do.

I went to a private school until I was ten, was homeschooled until I was fourteen, and I opted to attend a public high school. I think the schooling environment that’s best for kids depends largely on the individual child, and on the society in which they’re growing up. For instance, I think Chinese Christian kids should only be homeschooled, for their own safety.
I’m a big supporter of homeschooling, even if I did choose as a mature teenager to attend a public school.

Hey, no need to swear. My little brother is home schooled and he loves it. I just saw this guy at a christian youth event and he was so funny! Couldn’t stop laughing.
