What Awaits at Girls Night Out

It’s time. It’s overdue. One more day of: the kids’ temper tantrums; cleaning that never ends; the hustle and bustle of work and home, work and home, work and home; a sleepless night as your baby just won’t sleep for nothing despite all that you do and you’ll be saying “Stick a fork in me. I’m done.” You’re burned out and you know some other women who’ve seen their fair share.

A relaxing and refreshing time with our girlfriends is what’s needed. This is the time to connect with other women with the same circumstances, perhaps some different, in Girls Night Out. Girls Night Out promises an evening of laughter, fellowship, chocolate, maybe some tears, renewal and sharing with girlfriends you know and don’t know. Walk away feeling rejuvenated, excited, renewed, and enriched. Make a Girls Night Out an evening to remember.

It’s funny that no matter how many walks of life come to Girls Night Out, we all have one thing that overrides all of these differences– we’re women. Some women have it easier than you; some have it harder. No matter the walk of life, a woman’s story is much the same– we are caregivers, we sacrificially love, we are the emotional support for others, we are the glue that keeps the family together, we are the healers, we are the nurturers, we are the unsung heroes and yet still smile at the end of the day as we find time to work and give in so many other areas of life. Is it any wonder you’re running ragged? Is it any wonder you’re spiritually hungry for fellowship?

It’s no mistake you are who you are. God created you and all women uniquely; with different strengths and weaknesses. It is through fellowship that we can share our gifts with one another, lifting each other up. God has designed our role as mother, as wife, as sister, and as a friend to love, give, and share with others. It is through this bond with other women that we understand what it means to be a woman and how beautiful this is. Girls Night Out is the time and place to focus on the roles God has given us to become strengthened and reaffirmed in our lives for His glory.

Girls Night Out is the place to connect with other women going through the same issues you are. Find what God wants from you as a woman. Being a woman is a blessed and beautiful thing. Go home with a new outlook on life. Go home ready to take on more. Go home knowing that: at 2 am with a crying toddler; at 5 am when you’re staring down the barrel at a hungry bunch and dinner is not yet ready; or when you face the devastation of a friend who has had a recent miscarriage that God has placed you exactly where you are and has given you His grace, the tools, and gifts you need to see this through. It is through fellowship that we can carry each other. It is through Girls Night Out that we can do this.
