- Semi-finalist America's Got Talent
- Top 10 on NBC's The Voice
For being only 17, Smithfield, Virginia native Bria Kelly is extremely accomplished for her age. She discovered her love for performing at the early age of 8 when performing in her elementary school chorus.
It wasn’t until the age of 11 that Bria decided to take her talent to the people of Hampton Roads, Virginia. She started to sing the National Anthem before local hockey and baseball games such as the Norfolk Admirals and the Norfolk Tides.
From here, Bria Kelly got the chance to sing the National Anthem at a televised Philadelphia Eagles football game and a Baltimore Orioles baseball game.
After a couple years, Bria was asked to perform the National Anthem at numerous concerts before country stars took the stage. These stars include: Taylor Swift, Rascal Flatts, Miranda Lambert, Craig Morgan, Sara Evans, Josh Turner and many more.
With the development of her voice and her career, Bria decided to learn the guitar to accompany herself when performing. She then put forth the effort, with help from her parents, to form a band of hardworking musicians who now call themselves “The Bria Kelly Band”. The band is now extremely popular in Hampton Roads.
During the summer of 2012, she decided to take the ultimate challenge by competing in NBC’s hit show “America’s Got Talent”. She tried out for the show by submitting a video through the YouTube auditions. Bria was extremely well-received by America because she made it into the Top 20 of the challenge. Two weeks later, Bria found herself in Newark, New Jersey standing on the biggest stage in America; and she she also found herself to be named a “Season 7 Semi-finalist”. Bria Kelly is currently on Season 6 of NBC’s show “The Voice“
