Collins Key has achieved what no other magician has ever done—let alone at 17 years of age. Not only did he change the game in the way magic is presented on America’s Got Talent—and set a new standard for amazement—but he was the very first magician to make it to the final round in 8 seasons. As Howard Stern pointed out in a recent interview, it was “a huge win for his career.” To date, Collins is the first magician to be born out of social media and only magician to constantly trend on social media world-wide.
After completing the 36–city America’s Got Talent National Tour, “Magic’s First Pop Star” did something else that has never been done before in the history of magic—he made it sexy, fresh, and engaging for the teen demographic when he opened for Demi Lovato on her 30-city Neon Lights Tour. Collins captured the imagination and hearts of over 12,000 screaming fans, nightly, across the U.S. and Canada. Thousands of girls mobbed him after every performance as he left the arenas—this is the first time it has ever happened for a magician and it is completely unheard of in the magic community.
With his popularity skyrocketing, Collins was asked to be a presenter on the 2014 Teen Choice Awards, taking center stage with such superstars as Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift, and Ansel Elgort, among others. He was also a featured speaker for TEDx, and is the top-subscribed teen-magician on YouTube.
Collins began his career at the age of 12 when he transformed a simple birthday party into an unforgettable experience. Today, at 18 he is doing the same thing for major corporations such as Johnson & Johnson/Accuvue, Kellogg’s and more, as well as the hundreds of thousands of fans that he has amassed all over the world.
